5 Questions to Ask Before
Choosing a Telehealth Platform

Before you sign with any GLP-1, peptide, or hormone platform, use this list to ensure you own your payments, your patients, and your brand.

1
Who owns your customers?

Your patient list is yours. A good platform keeps it that way. You should be able to contact your patients, market to them, and take that list anywhere. Ask: Who owns the patient list? Can I contact my patients freely at any time?

2
Does my revenue go directly to me?

You should be the merchant of record. That means customer payments land in your account, and you control refunds. Look for a platform that processes payments under your name, not theirs. Ask: Who is the merchant of record? Do customer payments go directly to me?

3
Will they help you get your own LegitScript certification?

LegitScript certification is required for payment processing and to run ads on Google and Meta. A platform that helps you get certified in your own name is setting you up to grow independently. Ask: Is the LegitScript certification in my name? Have you helped other partners get certified?

4
Do you own your domain, your brand, and your website?

Your domain, your brand assets, and your website should all be in your name. A good platform builds on infrastructure you control from day one. Ask: Who owns the domain? Is my site hosted on infrastructure I control?

5
Did they show you the full numbers -- revenue and costs?

A confident platform shows you everything: revenue, fees, and margin at different patient volumes. You should know exactly what you earn before you commit. Ask: What do I earn per patient after all fees at 25 patients? At 100?
